Selecting the most appropriate nomination category is a very important part of the nomination process. Nomination Process

Nominations must be submitted on the Mentorship & Volunteerism Excellence Awards Nomination Form, which can be downloaded here.  The Nomination Form has been designed to provide the judges with all the information they require to arrive at decisions.  No accompanying or additional material will be accepted. The judges will only evaluate material contained on the nomination form, disregarding any prior knowledge they may have of the nominees.

There does not need to be a formal relationship between nominator(s) and nominee(s).  It is the responsibility of the nominator(s) to secure the agreement of the nominee(s) that their nomination may be submitted.  This is particularly important as it is a condition of nomination that the nominee(s) agree, if shortlisted for an Award.

The closing date for receipt of nominations will be 12 noon on Friday 21 March 2023.  No late or incomplete nominations will be accepted.

There are always fewer awards than people who deserve them. Because receiving awards is so rare, it is reserved for people:

  • Who have achieved excellence in their field and/or made significant, observable changes or accomplishments;
  • Whose work has benefited somewhat those around them, the community they belong to, or anywhere in the world in their field or activity.

If you think your nominee demonstrates these criteria and that their contribution stands out from those

of others, please consider nominating them for the 4th Mentorship & Volunteerism Excellence Awards .
